THE CHAIRPERSON OF BETTER LIFE FOR AFRICAN WOMAN , AISHA BABANGIDA VISITS RWANDA MUSEUMS.
Rwanda Museums with yet another great opportunity of hosting Madam Aisha Babangida, the Chairperson of Better Life Program for African Rural Woman who is also a daughter to the former Nigerian President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida on 8/11/2014. Madam Aisha together with her team began their visit at Presidential Palace Museum where they were vibrantly welcomed by the Museums' Director General and Staff. The Director General Mr. Alphonse B. Umuliisa took the guests through a guided tour out side and inside the museum where there is an ongoing Genocide photo exhibition , giving them a chance to explore and deeply understand the history of Rwandan post government leaderships.
The guests later proceeded to the Natural History Museum where they were also guided through different galleries that make up the Museum. According to Madam Aisha Babangida, the representation of Rwanda's fauna and Flora found in this museum makes one feel like staying in Rwanda forever.
They enjoyed every minute they spent at the Museum. Madam Aisha was extremely delighted when she stated in the museum visitor's book.....” small but yet so detailed, graphic and filled with information. A real gem. May God continue to bless Rwanda the good people”.
The Director General concluded the guided tour with sincere appreciation to Madam Aisha Babangida and her team for having granted Rwanda Museums the honor to host and showcase to them the beauty of Rwanda's heritage.
