The King's Palace Museum was on 21st November, 2014 honored to receive the Eritrean Sports Commissioner Amb. Zemede Tekle with the Cycling Federation President Asmeron Habtemariam, accompanied by the Minister of Sports and Culture Amb. Joseph Habineza, the District Mayor and other government officials. Their guided tour commenced with the introduction of the Museum by the supporting staff who took them through with a detailed explanation of each component that make up the Museum. This according to Amb. Zemede Tekle was a great opportunity of discovering a lot about Rwanda's history just in the shortest time possible.
They were astounded by the King's lifestyle, the beer making process, the milk churning and the traditional long white horned cows- inyambo as explained by the staff . They were continuously amazed by each discovery encountered through the tour. This was confirmed by Amb. Zebede Tekle's remark in the Museum's visitors' book when he stated “very interesting a moment- an opportunity to know the important history that I did not have the ponibility before.” It was indeed great moment shared between the guests and the Museum staff.
