Jazz concert at Kandt House Museum.

One of Rwanda Museums’ vision is to provide museums and heritage sites around the country with a platform for educating and exposing Rwandan Cultural and Natural richness through education and entertainment.

It is in this line that a Jazz concert was organized on August 14th 2018 at Kandt House Museum in collaboration with “Jumelage Rhenanie Palatinat” where three group of performers entertain the public through different music instruments and songs. Those group of performers were:

“Phoenix Foundation” a Youth Jazz Orchester from Germany founded in 1979, is comprised of singing group of average age bracket of 20 years. The amazing performances by this particular group captured the attention of the  audience in attendance. They were amazed by their talents and the music interlude was very outstanding.

“Kinga & Blues Band” amused the public by performing Rwandan and Burundian traditional songs.

Last to perform was the popular female drum beat group known as “Ingoma Nshya”.   

The mixture of the three was incredible and left the public with smiles on their faces.

It was a memorable night the museums’ visitors and Jazz lovers.
